Cod skin, and nothing else — whole skins rather than pieces pressed into shape. Each skin is folded over and sliced before drying, so the pieces stay large and light. That is why a 4 oz bag looks fuller than the weight on the front suggests.
These are the longest-lasting of our cod skins. A dog works at a piece for a while instead of finishing it in a few bites, though how long depends a lot on how determined a chewer your dog is.
How to serve them
One piece at a time, given whole, or torn down for a smaller dog. It is worth serving on a surface you do not mind getting a little oily. Treats are meant for intermittent or supplemental feeding, so keep them to a small part of your dog's day and leave fresh water out.

What to expect
- One ingredient: cod skin. No by-products, fillers or added preservatives.
- Dense and firm rather than crisp.
- Large pieces that vary in size, shape and color, with curled edges and pale patches.
- A natural fish smell, with nothing added to cover it.
Storage
Keep the bag somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Reseal it tightly after opening, or move the skins into an airtight container. They do not need refrigerating.
